Trig-Star Winner Gives Thanks to PSLS

The following are words from a thank-you note written by Clay Swackhamer, the winner of a Trig-Star competition, to PSLS in June.

Dear PSLS,

My name is Clay Swackhamer, and I am the winner of the Trig-Star competition for Brandywine Heights High School.

I am writing this note to thank you for the money that I was awarded for winning the school-wide competition.

My friends at school could scarcely believe that there was a large cash award for this competition. Now they are convinced that money may actually be present in math-related occupations.

Thank you very much for this monetary reward for a year of hard work in trigonometry class.
