Fuehrer stresses the importance of education, communication and participation in the surveying profession: “It is vital that each of us keep abreast of new technology, as well as conveying the role of and need for surveyors. Communication is vitally important in representing ourselves to clients, government and the public. We must educate the public about what we do professionally and what we do for the community. If we wish to advance the profession of surveying, participation by all of us is critical in communicating our message frequently and clearly.”
Incorporated in 1969, PSLS is the statewide professional organization of individuals having an interest in the practice of surveying. It exists for the purpose of supporting, improving and enhancing the profession, its members, and the practice of land surveying. To these ends, the critical work of the Society focuses on providing education, legislative involvement, enhancing the public awareness, and the promulgation of the ethics of the profession. The Society extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Fuehrer! |
