Surveyors' Conference 2016
Planning is complete and registration is now open for the 2016 Surveyors' Conference in Hershey, PA on January 24 - 27, 2016. The list of workshops and presenters are a mix of the old and new. Among the favorites returning this year are Milton Denny, Dave Doyle, Paul DeBarry, and Bill Henning. We also have several new names including John Matonich, Jennifer DiBona, and Kris Kline. The PSLS conference is designed to offer educational and networking opportunities to surveyors and others interested in surveying-related industries. Structured workshops present a wide range of learning objectives, including boundary surveying, GIS, stormwater, ethics, and more.
Also new ...PSLS is going paperless! The planning committee has purchased a mobile app for use by attendees which will enable attendees to download handout materials ahead of time, connect virtually to other conference attendees, and even take notes on their mobile device. No more carrying around bulky notebooks and reams of paper. All conference information will be available on the App and updated in real time.
Sponsorship Opportunities: PSLS is now accepting sponsorship applications for the 2016 Surveyors' Conference. The Education Committee is asking you to contact vendors, associates and partners and ask them to be a sponsor at the Annual Conference. There are sponsorship opportunities for Vendors, Members and all Geospatial Professionals! This year PSLS is offering two new sponsorship opportunities: The Auction /Raffle Sponsor, which will benefit education; and the Foundation Sponsorship which will go directly to the PLS Foundation. Whether you choose to be a sponsor or encourage a vendor or partner to do so, you will be supporting PSLS and, directly or indirectly, the profession of Surveying.
