2017 Surveyors Conference
PSLS believes that the future of the profession is in our hands and that the key to protecting and investing in the profession is education. From Boundary’s to UAV’s, the 2017 Surveyors Conference has you covered. Workshop topics span all levels of the profession from students and technicians to licensed professionals on the cutting edge of technology, and everyone in between. Participants are responsible for their own lodging. A block of rooms has been reserved at Hershey Lodge. Rooms will be held until December 22, 2016. To make reservations, contact Hershey Lodge here.
Fees and Registration
PSLS Members: $680 early (if postmarked by December 26, 2016, $740 regular; Other Prof. Assn. Members: $680 early (if postmarked by December 26, 2016), $740 regular; NSPS, AAGS, GLIS, PSPE or member of other professional society in the geospatial of related fields (contact appropriate professional society for registration code). Non-members: $825 early (if postmarked by December 26, 2016), $880 regular; Student: $305. Multiple Registrations: $625 member, $770 non-member; 3 or more from same company (contact PSLS for discount code). One-day Registration: $405, includes instruction, lunch, and breaks. Breakfast and dinner are NOT included for a one-day registration. They may be purchased separately.
Fee Includes: Instruction; Sunday buffet; Monday and Tuesday evening banquets; Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday breakfasts; Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday lunches; and beverage breaks.
To register, complete our online application or complete the enclosed registration form and return to PSLS by December 26, 2016, for the early registration fee. Late registrations must be received by January 11, 2017. Faxed registrations must be accompanied by payment information. If you choose to pay by credit card via telephone, please fax your registration form prior to calling. You will be notified promptly of any cancellations, schedule, or program changes.
$100 per person. Meals at Hershey Lodge are breakfast for $25, lunch for $35 and dinner for $50 per person. Meals for spouses are not included with registration except as noted on the spouse registration form.
Refund and Cancellation Policies
Refunds of the full conference registration fee will be made for cancellations received in writing by December 28, 2016. After that, the individual or organization will be held responsible for the fee. No telephone cancellations will be accepted. Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may send a substitute.
Access - If you anticipate needing special accommodations due to a physical challenge, or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact PSLS at (717) 540-6811 before your visit.
Course/Activity Cancellation - PSLS may cancel or postpone any course or activity due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is canceled or postponed, PSLS will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other related costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
Certificates - Certificates of completion will be issued only to individuals signing each course attendance sheet. If a workshop has more than one session you MUST attend ALL SESSIONS to receive credit for the workshop. PARTIAL CREDIT WILL NOT BE GIVEN.
Continuing Education Credits -- Pennsylvania: No pre-approval is available for CE credits. Delaware: No pre-approval. The Delaware Board has recently voted to accept professional development hours sponsored by professional societies in DE, MD, NJ, & PA. New Jersey: Workshop outlines have been submitted to the registration boards for certification. Maryland: A written summary or quiz will be required at the end of most courses for those seeking Maryland Type A credit. New York: PSLS is an approved NYSED sponsor; approved courses will be posted on the PSLS website. Other States: Individuals must apply to other states on their own. There is no guarantee that workshops will be approved.
Course credit for all states is the responsibility of the individual licensee.

PSLS is hosting its 2016 Summer Conference August 25 - 26, 2016 at the Pittsburgh Monroeville Convention Center, Monroeville, PA. Participants can earn up to 16 PDHs while attending this hands-on conference.
PSLS Member: $490 (Must log in to register)
Registration cost includes: workshops, Thursday lunch and dinner, Friday breakfast and lunch, and morning and afternoon refreshment breaks both days. Hotel accommodations are not included in registration fees.

The PSLS Summer Conference, August 27th & 28th is designed to offer educational and networking opportunities to surveyors and others interested in survey relate industries. Workshops have been structured to provide educational opportunities which include an outdoor or hands-on aspect. Many of the workshops have outdoor activities combined with classroom activities to give the attendee a more complete understanding of the technologies involved.
The Inaugural Summer Conference will be the first opportunity to try out the benefits of the Mobile Event App. Handouts and event information will be available on the App in advance of the event. No paper copies will be given! Those who prefer paper copies can download and print only the information they need, reducing waste and raising efficiency.
Continuing Education credits for New York and New Jersey have been applied for and will be posted online when received. CE credits for Delaware have been pre-approved for all qualifying workshops. A written summary will be required for those seeking Maryland Type A credits. No CE credits will be given for the Exam Review workshop.
