Presenter: LAUREL F. MUELLER
Laurel F. Mueller is President/Owner and Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS) for Soil Services Company, Inc, a consulting firm she started in 1984. Laurel started Mountain Wastewater Management in 2008 to sell and service alternate technology sewage system components.
Laurel represents CPSSs at Soil Science Society of America (SSSA), and is national chair for SSSA Consultants Division. She is a PA Sewage Enforcement Officer, a member of PASEO, a Pennsylvania Septage Management Assocation (PSMA) Instructor for Onlot Wastewater System Inspections, and a PSMA Board member. She served on the Board of Pennsylvania Association of Professional Soil Scientists (PAPSS) and as national president of National Society of Consulting Soil Scientists (NSCSS).
Her expertise includes soil classification, high-intensity soil mapping, hydraulic conductivity, hydric soils, wetlands, stormwater, geomorphology for archaeology, expert testimony, and sewage facility planning, designs and maintenance.
