The Pennsylvania Land Surveyors’ Foundation was established to promote, improve, and encourage the profession and practice of land surveying in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The Foundation seeks to create an awareness of the opportunities available in the land surveying profession, provide financial assistance to persons pursuing an education in land surveying, make grants and contributions to educational institutions to enhance their curriculum related to land surveying, and provide financial assistance to persons or institutions for research in land surveying. For details on the operation and future plan of the Foundation, please read the Business Plan.
Each year, the Pennsylvania Land Surveyors’ Foundation presents scholarships to individual land surveying students who are outstanding scholars, students, and citizens. Scholarships are awarded to Pennsylvania residents pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree or Associate Degree in Land Surveying.
Over the years, surveyors have demonstrated with pride a desire to support the preservation and development of the surveying profession. The Pennsylvania Land Surveyors’ Foundation needs the help, support and guidance of every Professional Land Surveyor to perpetuate the profession.
